Another game that was pretty good defensively for the Gens for the most part. Absolutely dominated the Petes in the 1st but then a much closer game the remaining 2 periods. Only real "yikes" moment was Keyser putting the game tying goal on Butler's stick only for him to miss the wide open net. Gens special teams looked really good tonight. PK was 3/3 giving up only 2 shots and didn't give up a shot on the Petes last attempt with 2:43 left, which most of it was 6-on-4. Also the PP going 1/3 but that McShane goal was at a huge time and was the game winner.

Must win in Flint now, the Saginaw game isn't as important if you win in Flint and then a huge one Monday vs Sudbury
Game against Sudbury isn’t ideal for the Wolves as they’ll have played a big afternoon game against the Dogs the afternoon prior, after a big Friday game against the Hounds. Oh well the scheduling has largely favoured them this year and every team has to pay it’s dues in that sense.

Just curious what was said for anyone watching the game around the like 9 or 10 minute mark in the 3rd when they had the scrum in front of the Oshawa net? No idea if the puck was in or not, but they blew the horn to review it. Ref skated over said soemthing thru the little hole in the glass and skated away. The guy behind the glass with the headset on, pointed up like they wanted to review it and held his arm up confused.

It was waved off because the ref said Hughes had it before Dellandrea knocked it loose and put it in. Wasn't reviewable

Back to normal tomorrow do not forget the Ice Dogs have the tie breaker on Oshawa if everything is even up.

The 1st tiebreaker is whoever has more wins. So the Ice Dogs do not hold the tiebreaker. Gens have 3 more wins than Niagara does

2nd tiebreaker is season series

Yes correct - just that Three Doggy is not getting the bigger picture of how this news WILL disrupt the team - not good for team morale etc....btw, like the Habs Logo - got to love the red, white and blue!
I doubt it will have little effect it was sancations from three years ago by all accounts.
