CALGARY, AB – The Calgary Flames announced today that they have assigned centre Markus Granlund, goaltender Joni Ortio, and defenceman Tyler Wotherspoon to the Adirondack Flames of the American Hockey League before the NHL All-Star weekend.

This is also why they are moving the AHL team to Stockton, so they can do same day recalls.
