I'm sure someone's done this before, but not since i've been posting, so why not start one now?

Rules:

1. You must GM one of the original 6 teams (New York Rangers, Montreal Canadians, Toronto Maple Leafs, Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings, or Boston Bruins.)

2. The draft will consist of 34 rounds: 4 lines, 3 defensive pairings, 2 goalies, 2 extra fowards and 2 extra defensmen and your organizations top 10 prospects.)

3. There will be a 9 hour time limit on picks. With only 6 GM's I don't expect to have too many problems with keeping the draft going, but if you don't think you can consistantly make 9 hours (we all miss a pick here and there) then please don't sign up.

4. Draft order will run 1-6, then 6-1 and so on.

5. Anyone older than draft age (no ovechkin or crosby) who is playing in a profesional league somewhere in the world is eligable.

6. Sign up here with your team (I'm Taking the Rangers.)

*I realize that 34 rounds is alot of drafting, but I think that with only 6 GM's that it shouldn't be too hard. Plus, I think that having a top 10 prospect's section will both add an extra demention to the draft and will prevent GM's from feeling the need to put unproven prospects on they're teams based on potential.

well, after everyone signs up, i'll pick names out of a hat for the order and we'll start drafting. You can draft anyone you want that is past draft age (no ovechkin or crosby and such) and isn't retired (hmm, guess i should put this under rules.)

well, technically buppy's time is up, but I'm gonna be leniant in the first round, since i'd hate for someone to miss they're first round pick. We'll give him a few more hours and then move on.
