Don't know if the Mods will think this is an inappropriate question for a thread at this stage, but I'll post it and see what happens...
What will happen late next spring IF the League is ultimately forced into finding a relocation site for the Coyotes? More to the point, at that point in time, which city, if any, could be the best option for the NHL to turn to? Of course, the biggest factor is in which city(ies) is there more likelihood to have owners who will take the Coyotes. Is it possible that the NHL would go with a city that doesn't yet have an acceptable arena but that has a promise to have one in a couple of years, or is it more likely that a city like Kansas City or Houston would be the recipient of a relocated Coyotes?
Just trying to anticipate what options the League might have or what option the League might choose if forced to.
