Wait, is it the balls themselves that are moving in a straight line, or is it the string that's moving in a straight line (or straight lines, as it is)...

It seems like it's the latter from my view - it's moving in straight lines of an equilateral triangle?

The balls are moving up and back on a straight line. (Each has their own angle and does not deviate)
