I'm a little late to comment, but it seems from looking at the results that being able to snag Dryden (and so soon after Roy and Plante!) was the deciding factor in my series with @VanIslander. The goalie game in this format is sure a different game than the ATD.

Yet Smith was the better playoff goalie.
Just look at the HOH project rankings.
19 consecutive playoff series wins eith a more active role in a dynadtu team's success.

At the very least Smith vs. Dryden is a wash, playoffwise.
