There were already reports the last time the Wings beat up on the Preds that Hynes was on the hot seats.

Why do I have this bad feeling that if Hynes gets fired there we’ll hire him as an assistant coach? I mean, likely not because it’s very a rare a team hires an assistant mid season, unless they fire an assistant or two along with their head coach.

I can’t see that happening. They kept Nasreddine specifically for the PK and that didn’t work.

I want Nasreddine gone in the off-season and it hopefully someone like Claude Julien as an assistant if he doesn’t a new HC job. Other teams have veteran HCs in assistant roles, it’s time for the team to step up here. No more AHL riff raff.

Hynes is a big reason why Shero got fired. Fitz isn't going to turn around and bring him back.
I don’t really think he would either, but that would be the biggest swerve since Hogan joined the NWO.

Look at this moron at 10 seconds pulling down his mask just to do this stupid chant...

Forget that guy.

Check out the two(three?) dudes at 0:08 of the video that wore NO MASKS AT ALL!! :shakehead

I think that's more egregious than the guy in the hoodie in the back pulling down his mask slightly to do the stupid chant.

Anyway, that was embarrassing for Boston.

??? That Kreider goal was horrible, tossed it from 20 feet out and just in front of the goal line if memory serves.

Went off a defenders skate or leg right in front of the net.

Fitz isn’t Lou and Hynes isn’t Larry Robinson. They aren’t bringing back the old head coach to be an assistant to the guy who permanently replaced him.

Softy of the night is this Nick Suzuki goal on Hellebuyck, although maybe it should have been the goal against Varlamov where he slipped on an invisible banana peel.
