Toronto is a dumpster fire. If they can just get a few good chances, they are going to score. But they can't generate anything.

Cmon you should know better than to chalk up a 2-0 lead safe with him
I was going to complain about this unnecessary Hynes bashing but it’s 2-2 now which kind of took all the wind out my sails.

I even think we would be able to score a bunch on this guy. How is Toronto this much of a mess?

+14 goal differential for the year is pretty solid for a team that was supposed to be rebuilding. Better than a few eastern conference playoff teams. They are a bit lucky that this surge came so late. They are still too far back in points with too many teams in between to really make that push for the playoffs, so they still need to be in the seller mentality.
I would call it a retool instead of a rebuild. They didn’t totally blow it up.

This game in Toronto is amazing

No other major league sport has anything like this

Nope, the closest you might get is if an NFL team loses all its QB's, but at least the guy who winds up under center is another NFL player under contract probably just running the wildcat. The Eagles came close to having Josh McCown line up as a WR this year which would have been hilarious too.

The Leafs don't care. Their division is such an absolute joke, they may as well have clinched at this point.

The team chasing them has won 3 of their last 10...

Not even joking...the Leafs should have traded for Andy Greene

If only Lou was still there.

Actually I doubt he waives his NTC to go to Toronto, it just made too much sense for him to go to the Island and not have to be seperated from his family.

I think we’ll learn what the highest level of hysteria that’s possible in Toronto. That fan base would be calmer after a large zombie attack. They’re going to be talking about this pathetic game forever.

The Jets had to have their punter play QB for 3 quarters the week Vinny tore his Achilles in ‘99.

Fitz needs to call Toronto and offer Woods and Vantanen for Nylander and Reilly. We can take advantage of the panic.
