Goals against review for tonight.

Flames vs Flyers: 2 goals against Rittich, 1 stoppable. 3 goals against Hart, 1 stoppable.

Wild vs Senators: 3 goals against Dubnyk, no chance on any. 4 goals against Nilsson, 2 stoppable.

Sabres vs Bruins: 2 goals against Ullmark, 1 stoppable. 1 goal against Rask and it's stoppable. The other goal on Ullmark was also pretty borderline.

Canucks vs Maple Leafs: 5 goals against Markstrom, 3 stoppable. Hutchinson gets the shutout. Stick a fork in Markstrom's hot streak.

Predators vs Canadiens: 1 goal against Saros, no chance. 3 goals against Price, 2 stoppable.

Blue Jackets vs Panthers: 3 goals against Bobrovsky, 2 stoppable. 4 goals against Reimer, 2 stoppable.

Islanders vs Blues: 3 goals against Lehner, 1 stoppable. 4 goals against Allen, 2 stoppable.

Oilers vs Kings: 3 goals against Koskinen, 2 stoppable. 1 goal against Talbot and it's stoppable. Quick gets the shutout.

Lightning vs Sharks: 5 goals against Vasilevskiy, 2 stoppable. 2 goals against Jones, 1 stoppable.

This was a brutal night for goalies on the eye test. 49 goals scored on goalies tonight, 24 were stoppable. That's 49% of the goals allowed tonight were stoppable. That's the highest percentage by far that I've counted this year on nights where there was more than 2 or 3 games played. Combined save percentages were .905 and felt like they should have been .850%.

This was a brutal night for goalies on the eye test. 50 goals scored on goalies tonight, 24 were stoppable. That's 48% of the goals allowed tonight were stoppable. That's the highest percentage by far that I've counted this year on nights where there was more than 2 or 3 games played. Combined save percentages were .896% and felt like they should have been .850%.

Bob played for both teams in Sunrise? ;)

They certainly trounced them...by one goal.
Just now reviewing that game and holy f***in amateur hour goaltending by Hogberg and Mrazek.

I think I've already found softy of the night in there, but can't decide which one of the two. Might be a dead heat.

Goals against review for tonight.

Devils vs Golden Knights: 3 goals against Kinkaid, 2 stoppable. 2 goals against Subban, 1 stoppable.

Hurricanes vs Senators: 4 goals against Mrazek, 2 stoppable. 3 goals against Hogberg, all 3 are stoppable. 2 goals against Nilsson in relief, no chance on either.

Rangers vs Coyotes: 5 goals against Lundqvist, 2 stoppable. Kuemper gets the shutout. The stoppable goals are racking up for Lundqvist by a ton lately. They've more than doubled since a month ago.

Stars vs Jets: 4 goals against Bishop, 1 stoppable. 1 goal against Hellebuyck, no chance.

Capitals vs Red Wings: 2 goals against Holtby, no chance on either. 3 goals against Howard, no chance on any.

Oilers vs Ducks: 4 goals against Gibson, no chance on any. Talbot gets the shutout.

Blackhawks vs Penguins: 3 goals against Ward, 1 stoppable. 4 goals against DeSmith, 2 stoppable.

That's 40 goals scored on goalies tonight, 14 are stoppable. That's 35% of goals scored tonight were stoppable. Pretty bad, but an improvement from last night and that Carolina and Ottawa game was filled with so much trash ending up in the back of the net. Combined save percentages were .907%.

Softy of the night is a dead heat between this goal on Hogberg from Ottawa

And this equally pathetic goal on DD favorite Petr Mrazek

The flyers are a dumpster fire almost as large as we are. I keep waiting for them to go on a win streak, but they can't get anything going.
