Calling up a player like Elie to play his old team like it's a movie and he'd awaken some super power and just blow them away was a ridiculous idea that just doesn't work in the real world.

I really wish a reporter would've asked housley what he thought was going to happen.

Though Elie isn't very good, I don't think the plan was to staple him to the bench for the rest of the year. If they are going to play him every once in awhile, why not do it against his former team?

Because they should never be playing him once in awhile to begin with.

Elie should be waived or traded for a 7th rounder or something. If we need another player there are at least 3-4 guys in Rochester that are better that can be called up.
