Very interesting stat.

I'm not a Therrien hater, far from it. In fact, I defend him more often than not, while not liking many of his decisions.

But while I think many players have to respond for their poor play and production, I do think Therrien has to respond for an overall poor production.

But to me, that doesn't mean he has to go. But he certainly has to make adjustments.

The 5-on-5 scoring visual they show where we sit with Calgary - well, sat, until last night - at 29th and only Buffalo being worse was telling too.

What reasons do you have for wanting him to stay here exactly?

They are barely on pace to match the 2000-2001 output, featuring such offensive stalwards such as Oleg Petrov and Brian Savage leading the team in scoring..

Wow, looking at that link made me realize that we have only won 6 playoff series in the past 19 years. That is pathetic.

The problem is that he does not seem very good at making adjustments, especially on the fly. For me the best option is a new coach, one that can work with the assets in hand and use the to their strengths.

nhl.com has us at 162 GF as it doesn't count shootout winners as GF (which I tend to agree with).

Well we need about 2 goals per game. Its highly probable that we get these 200 goals.

Still, this team is offensively deficient, and imho it starts with our defense being pathetic.

Why can't we have friggin Markov and Subban together? They both played much better as a pairing.

Guys, Therrien is not a loser. He sees that record and in his mind he thinks his team is good enough to finish 1st Ever Habs team who scored the LEAST amount of goals a year! The season isnt over but thats what he's gunning for. Vanek, the defensive specialist, could corroborate that.

You have a line that's scoring ?

Break them up to get other lines to score.

The Therrien way. Such potential for a meme.

How bloody bad is the East recently for the Habs to still be in the playoff picture. You have that kind of offensive output less than five years ago and you likely finish 15!

So even in the height of the dead puck era with terrible lineup this team was scoring more
Am not so sure the dead puck era really ended. The league sure as hell did not return to the offensive level of the 80s or even the 70s.
