Regardless of Hedman injury, their Cup odds should drop to 100/1 based on this alone.

I would say having Girardi at all causes their cup odds to drop by at least 50%. He was all over the highlight reels in game 7 of the ECF last year and once again for the wrong reasons. This is very customary of Girardi in crushing playoff losses. Look at some of the Rangers playoff defeats. He's been on the ice for a few very memorable OT winners against in the playoffs for the Rangers. (See: Henrique! it's over!) And he has caused a good amount of those goals that he's been on the ice for.
