With his goal today, Victor Olofsson became the first player in history whose first seven NHL goals were all scored on the PP. He had been tied with a few other players at 6.

Possible darkhorse Calder candidate, if he stays on PP1 and on the top line with Eichel and Reinhart? Or will his age and the possible "PP specialist" label some may put on him work against him?

Started on a heater, what is his shooting percentage right now? Still pretty damn impressive, looks at home on the pp

He’s also has scored in at least seven of his 11 or 12 games. He could have scored in even 8 or who knows maybe even 9 of them I just can count seven from memory.

I along with others said he was going to be a dark horse all summer I didn’t expect him to get off to this start though. He’s got 11 pts now in this his 11th game too.

Like the guy said above last years collapse has kept us from being extremely excited but this year we’re getting secondary scoring, effort, a system, this time last year through six games skinner had not scored one goal (which will surprise people considering he had 32 by the all star break) and Reinhart for the second year went in a fall coma. Now everyone seems to be producing so it feels different.

Hope it can last. Not to this extent that’s impossible but I just want competitive games in March.

That's some cool trivia, with that shot it's only a matter of time until he scores an even strength goal. Sabres PP gonna be good this year

At this point I wouldn't even call him a darkhorse. I can't think of many other rookies who will approach his goal totals. Didn't think he'd translate but man is he ever. I was w-wwr-wrr-wrong.

Yes this is trivia rather than a record

Great game from him today regardless

Why put "" around PP specialist if he hasn't done anything outside the PP?

I don't really see how this is a record, more of just a random stat. He's going to do well on the Sabres powerplay with Dahlin and Eichel feeding him all year.

Focus on just trying to make it to December playing meaningful games

So basically he's useless outside the pp?
Not at all. He had a nasty assist on Reinhart's goal at even strength. He's good on the transistion, and plays a pretty good two-way game. I think the even strength goals will come.
