Not a clue. Expect Joe Beninati, Jack Edwards, Darren Eliot and Brian Engblom to be busy for a few weeks though.

OLN picked up CBC's feed last night for Calgary and Anaheim. Maybe we'll see a bunch of that.

That's what I'm thinking. Those lazy OLN commentators don't want to go anywhere! :sarcasm:

I got the DET/EDM CBC feed on Monday night. That was nice. Actually, I think all of the games played in EDM were the CBC feed and OLN showed the entire series.

Just thought I'd add a plug here for the OLN website. In case any of you don't know this already, they've got a ton of good quality video highlights. I try to go frequently, cuz I figure if the site gets more hits, hopefully it will encourage them to continue with the good coverage, and maybe even add stuff...who knows....anyway, check it out, if you haven't already OLNtv.com go to the NHL page and click the video gallery...really there's pages and pages and it's some of the best quality high lights i've been able to find online anywhere

Don't be surprised if Emrick and Davidson do Game 6 Philly-Buffalo, as well as the if necesary Game 7.

Edwards and Brickley will have Game 7 of Anaheim-Calgary, as I believe that'll be an OLN exclusive.

Round 2 Schedule is up, 27 of 28 games will be televised on U.S. soil.

All 28 on Canadian soil, 14 each on TSN and CBC.

The schedule is screwed up though. They have OLN televising the OTT/BUF and NJ/CAR games at the same time on 3 nights. How are they going to do that?

If I get screwed out of watching the Ottawa games I will be pissed.

SensGuy: the OLN broadcast Schedule for round 2 is posted at
    olntv.com

It appears as though OLN will have coverage of Sabres/Sens games 1 and 4 along with 5, 6, and 7 if necessary. I assume games 2 and 3 will be available in the US only via NHL Center Ice.

Someone correct me if I am mistaken.

Games 2 & 3 will likely only be shown on OLN in the Sabres market (I.e. anywhere in NY not called NYC)

Likely Emrick and Davidson will be doing Anaheim-Colorado.

Emrick is free for the first week of round 2 because all 4 Devils games are on National TV (1 & 4 NBC, 2 & 3 Exclusively OLN), and he will be calling G2 of COL-ANA on NBC Sunday.

is the njd/car series the only series in HD to air on OLN!?!?!? ugh it's like stabbing myself in the eyes for 2.5-3 hours.

  21. No, OLN is showing 5 Buf-Ott games, 6 EDM-SJ games, and 5 COL-ANA games. And for the record, they are showing 5 NJ-CAR games...

Here's the NBC lineup for this weekend.

NJ @ CAR. Sat: Chris Cuthbert (play-by-play), Peter McNab (analyst) and Cammi Granato (inside-the-glass reporter)

COL @ ANA: Mike Emrick (play-by-play), John Davidson (analyst) and Pierre McGuire (inside-the-glass reporter)

I would assume next week the Emrick team will do the Devils game as Emrick has to do games 5-7 for FSN NY and game 5 would be the next day.

yeah but the only ones listed in HD on their website are the NJ-CAR games...this is getting to be impossibly weak...it's 2006 for ****'s sake

  24. yeah, and there is a limited amount of HD trucks, even for established networks, as well as new networks like OLN.

Sucks, but isnt worth getting that upset about.

CBC will have Ottawa-Buffalo in HD, OLN might pick up that feed.
