looking for info on 40 or 45 + adult tournaments in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Mass, NY,Florida etc that are not run by companies such as canlan etc, ones that are run by oldtimer teams, any links greatly appreciated
You might want to try looking into the Snoopy's Senior World Hockey Tournament. It takes place every mid-July in Santa Rosa, CA (just an hour north of San Francisco). The tournament was started 35 years ago by the late Charles Schultz, the creator of the "Peanuts" comic strip. Today, his widow Jeanne and son Monty run the tournament.
The tournament is for players ages 40 and up and the teams are divided into age divisions. Within each age division are subdivisions (A, B, C) that are by overall team skill level with "A" being the highest. Players from all over North America and overseas play in this tournament each year, including many former NHLers, NCAA players, etc.
This will be my 11th year attending this tournament and I look forward to it every year. The teams for this year's tournament have already been set, but there are teams that may be looking for players. So if you want to be put on a team for this year's tournament, contact the tournament representatives.
Just follow the info in this
LINK.
Good luck.
