OT: Old Ondrasik SI article on Messier?

Either at the end of the 03-04 season, or maybe in 05 when Mess actually announced his retirement, John Ondrasik from "Five for Fighting" wrote a really nice piece about Messier for Sports Illustrated. For the life of me, I can't find it anywhere on the interwebs. Does anyone else remember that article, and maybe have a link or downloaded copy of it?

I actually did several advance searches for this, and received no hits. I even typed

Messier site:http://www.si.com with a range from 1/3/03-5/5/06, and there was no results.

Either it wasn't a Sports Illustrated article, or older print issues of SI are not searchable after a certain time in the past.

Yea, I did something similar. I guess my only hope is that someone has it saved somewhere! Thanks!
