Former 1st rounder. He had a promising rookie season but didn't get any AHL time when he may have benefited from it. Possibly getting back on track.

Karlsson and Stephenson did with us, Roy has steadily gotten better, Haula looked better with us than anywhere he's been.

Maybe we aren't good at developing forwards from scratch but if you give us an underperforming 23-25 year old center with some potential we seem okay at career rehabilitation.

From Rangers fans responses it seems he wouldn't be the first forward they stunted the development of, and others said he was skinny and just needed time to fill out his frame to be useful at the NHL level.

Of course many others despise him.

Smith for Kakko and Laf? Might as well trade them before their value goes to zero. Maybe throw in a goalie as well to battle Thompson for the cheap back up role. The Rags seem to do a good job developing those.

McDrai was pretty invisible last night. Other than drawing all 3 penalties you wouldn't have known they played.

Can we decline home ice in the playoffs? No home games and no power plays needed.
