Beagle is better and Brodziak is older than both but I'd rather have Brodziak's contract than either of those contracts.

For a guy that just put up 30 points, can help anchor the PK, and excel in a defensinve role, that's a beautiful contact.

Again it wouldnt surprise me if he took the #3 centre spot and left Khaira as the 4th (grooming him for that role)

Its acceptable. Creates some flexibility in the lineup and most likely helps the PK quite a bit. I'd much rather not see McDavid and RNH killing penalties every night. Hope he has enough left in the tank.

Holy ****, Beagle is a year and half younger, better in the dot, doesn't put up as consistent numbers. This is a way better deal. Beagle's deal is like Boyd Gordon's was

Firstly, Benning isn't a 3rd liner, he's a 7th D-man and his AAV is going to look silly once Bear and/or Bouchard push him out of the lineup where he belongs.
Secondly, Brodziak is going to be the much more valuable player than Cags. He'll probably score more and he's going to be the better defensive player.
