When you are this bad and you refuse to make any changes...yes it's clear what they want this season to be.

Is this a question, they been on a free fall for years, except the half season with Krueger.

Edmonton are going to be in one long rebuild as long as they have the current management (and owner?).

Well they almost beat the half-asleep Ducks. Visually they are a very good team.

Other than that, there is 50 other threads.
Well they had a little flurry, but didn't seem like they really came close to winning though.

They're tanking. Simple as that. Great acting by Fasth to make it seem like they aren't.

Good. Hopefully this will finally lead to MacT and Lowe getting the **** out of running the Oilers forever.

You don't do what the Oilers are doing...nothing...nothing at coach...nothing on the roster...nothing...unless you know you're sticking around and this is a purposeful fail. If there was any worry of those guys being axed they'd act like it. Give them McDavid and Eichel...I bet they still can't win with this management.

oilers being rewarded with mcdavid would be a disgrace.

they shouldn't let any team get more than two first overall picks in any five year period. maybe no more than one, actually.

No they aren't. That's the sad part.

I don't buy it. You build a roster void of NHL caliber centers because that's what you chose to do. You let them wallow and don't make changes...because they're doing exactly what you want them to. This is a tank.

They are not rebuilding, just being perpetually terrible.

They don't even try to fake rebuilding by trading all of their decent players for prospects, impressive.
