Nothing new here, been reported for weeks. Hopefully this gives TM more support and ability to adapt in game and make better decisions. Hopefully it gives more voices in the room when things arent going well and allows the coaching staff to make fixes quicker. Hopefully the special teams are much better next year. Hopefully Chiarelli can make some smart, savy moves without a catastrophic bad trade. I hope to be hopeful about the changes next year.

Press conference for coaching staff outside of head coaching staff changes don’t really happen. I imagine this is all we will hear about it.

On the topic of coaching staff changes, does anyone know if Dustin Schwartz is still our goalie coach going forward? I would have expected something new considering how much the goalies in the ahl and nhl floundered this past season. But I didn’t hear anything on him either way at any point.

Definitely my favorite move this whole off season. We can trade, draft, sign whoever but nothing would’ve changed with McLellan at the helm and no back up plan. I love it because these assistants are actually credible and now McLellan won’t feel so secure.

Potentially none of them. As McKenzie stated this morning, these guys were brought in by TM. They weren't brought in by PC just in case TM struggles again

This is true but it will make it easier to pull trigger on canning TM if the team struggles at start of year.
