Holl and Marincin on shut down duty turned out to be as bad as it sounded.

Yeah, Marincin played decent for a few games but things started going downhill in the third period against NYI.

But what can you do when Rielly has been so average this season?

I'd like Sandin over MM, but I doubt he makes much a difference against McDavid.

Mark Stone isn't any faster than Matthews yet he's always taking on defenders

Honestly folks, what the heck, you're watching the best player in the league doing what he does, and brilliantly! That speed is insane, his ability to change direction, his edge work and puck control, my god! I'd love to watch that more often, McDavid is just that good. Enjoy it.

I am enjoying it... but I would enjoy it much more if Mcjesus would get treated just like every other player.

The number of soft calls he gets is astronomical.

Rielly deserves a ton of criticism, the most visible being his skating and on-ice decision making. I guess having Ceci as a partner doesn't help too much but Rielly has not looked his usual self for most of the season. He may be hurt.
