The outlook for Heatley thankfully is positive, broken jaw but positive... Snyder however had surgery on a fractured skull and is in critical condition.

All thought of Heatley being my pick, the IFHL first overall pick aside, there has just been too much death in hockey this last while. I am praying Snyder is not added to that list...

Aquiring picks while selling them for a higher price..

The Gagne one, IMO was rather lopsided as well..

When the league has started, those kind of deals probably won't be possible.

Also, no single deal will be voted on during the draft, once the season starts, 5 commishes will vote on every trade that includes franchise players, see the rules.

is a very close deal where the other GM may have an upper hand this year. Shanahan >= Gagne in Point Production for this year. I get youth in Gagne but then Jin get Torres who is a very good prospect.
