So, with the NHL season on (hopefully) temporary hiatus, and a lot of crap going on in the world, I've decided that we need a group pick-me-up. And I know that when I feel down, my dog always makes me feel better.

So, with that in mind, I'd like to invite everyone to share pictures or videos or funny stories about their pets. I'll start...

This is my dog Charlie. Charlie is a 3-year old English Bulldog. Charlie spends his days sleeping, eating, begging for more food, and farting. He likes stuffed animals, American cheese, and sleeping in my bed when I'm not around. He dislikes strange noises, being woken-up suddenly, the loud dog across the street, and video review on offside calls.

Mike, I can’t see Charlie’s pic, but I’m down with his likes/dislikes!

This is my big goofy boy Furley (and his dad - can you see the resemblance?). He likes walks with his dad (2-3 miles every day) and WFH with his mom. He will always stay up and watch the late games with me even if his dad goes to bed.

Can I hug a thread?

I got Daisy when she was seven. The son of a couple I worked with is in the military, and he and his family got transferred to Germany. They didn't want to put Daisy through the stress of the flight and quarantine, so they left her with his parents to either keep or find a new home for her. They already had a golden retriever and didn't want another dog permanently. I had actually dog-sat Daisy before and loved her. They offered her to me, and the rest is history. She was perfectly trained and is very laid back despite the attitude she displays on this board. :sarcasm:

She just turned 13 years old a couple weeks ago and I'm hoping to have several more years with her.

The bottom picture is her doing synchronized napping with the golden retriever of the couple I got her from. They were best buddies, but Summer had to be put down a couple years ago. :(

This is Friskie. I rescued her 17 years ago. She is an affectation hound. Always need to be close to me, especially during Bruin games.

This is Peanut. Her mother lived in my backyard. When she had a litter of four, she abandoned the tiny, all white kitten on my patio. I tried to put the kitten back but Mama just moved the others and left the white baby. I bottle fed Peanut for 12 days before she even opened her eyes. I kept a heated fleece pad on my desk at work and took care of her until she was old enough to stay home. She is now 11 years old.

This is Brumby. I rescued her 8 years ago. She loves to sit with me when I’m fishing in our pond and swat at the fish as I land them. She’s very protective and runs off the other cats that come around the place.

This is Diesel, my 6 year old yellow lab. He’s a retired field trial dog and loves to retrieve. He goes everywhere with me, including work, every day.
