I’m gonna take Kasper Pikkarainen !

Just kidding, I’m taking Justin Gendron RW des Tigres de Victoriaville

Big RW who have great hands have a good scoring touch around the net and he’s not shy of the physical game. Had injuries problem in the past 2 years and he was in a good teams but I expect him to produce a lot next year in a bigger role.

With the #102 pick in the 2024 NHL draft the Montreal Canadiens are proud and excited to select from Kingston Frontenacs of the OHL

Jacob Battaglia RW 6’ 205Lbs

1713332589518.png

“Started the year slow but he is a rugged player who plays a heavy game that he combines with good vision, soft hands and playmaking ability. Playing for a bad Frontenacs team where there is little support, early on, he started on the lower lines and simply kept plugging away and worked his way on the line one, and the first power play. And simply caught fire offensively. Has a good mix of power and finesse, an excellent size/strength ratio and plays a rugged game along the boards and from the circles in. Displays a good understanding of game situations and is always involved in the heavy traffic areas.” --Bill Placzek--

2024 mock Draft

6. Berkly Catton (C) - Spokane Chiefs (WHL)

25. Nikita Artamonov (W) - Nizhny Novgorod (KHL)

59. Luke Misa (C) - Mississauga Steelheads (OHL)

70. Linus Eriksson (C) - Djurgårdens IF (HockeyAllsvenskan)

76. Clarke Caswell (C) - Swift Current Broncos (WHL)

102. Jacob Battaglia (RW) - Kingston Frontenacs (OHL)

Ottawa: @Natey you are on the Clock for pick #103.

Love the Battaglia pick, don't even care he's not related to Bates Battaglia.

He was next on my list.

A lot of picks this morning. I've updated OP to latest pick. We're at #107, Buffalo, which is @Treb

I'll try to put 5th round up later today.

A little surprised it took this long for him to go. Would love the Habs to use one of our 3rds/4th on him, his growth this year was tremendous. Was good but kinda blocked on a deep North Bay team last year, this year he came in with improved skating and motor and he has certainly shined. I think he's a legit prospect.

Really want to pick two guys as I don't expect them to make it to the 6th round...

Knowing who's drafting, my best bet is to pick from the QMJHL Rimouski Oceanic, Alexandre Blais.

43. Maxim Massé (RW) - Chicoutimi Saguenéens (QMJHL)
75. Veeti Väisänen (LD) - KooKoo (Liiga)
