The Oil Kings made a couple big moves on WHL trade deadline day today, sending goaltender Boston Bilous to Prince Albert for a conditional pick in 2022, and trading center Brett Kemp to Medicine Hat in exchange for winger Josh Williams. Williams was the 5th overall pick in the 2016 WHL draft and is currently a 'B' ranked prospect for the upcoming NHL draft. He represented Canada at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup in August and was recently named to the CHL Top Prospects game.

The league has officially announced the move of the Ice to Winnipeg. Not sure how that'll affect the Central and Eastern divisions, as one Saskatchewan team would have to play in the Central to balance out both divisions at 6 teams.
