ty for sharing!

Yeah...I did part of that trip, but in a rental truck...

All kidding aside, AZ IS unpredictable like she said. Sedona (the landscape and energy) will blow your mind. It really is the vortex of energy. Everyone should go to Sedona at least once in their life.

There’s no neat fit for this anywhere else, so I’m putting it here.

Pittsburgh fans are absolutely delusional when it comes to the Steelers and the Penguins. In another thread, the assertion is being made that the Penguins are the third greatest franchise of all time. Yeah. I laughed too.

They say that many Cups won by Boston, Toronto, and Montreal in a 6 team league don’t count as much as Cups won today in a 30 or 31 team league. Yet many of those same fans scream bloody murder if you don’t worship at the altar of the Steel Curtain and their four championships from the ‘70s when the NFL was vastly different.

Can’t have it both ways, yinzers.

Laying in the hospital with a broken hip. Backcountry skiing + tree = destroyed hip. I’m waiting for a CT scan them should get some good pics. I imagine rehab will be brutal, I won’t be moving much for awhile. This morphine is nice. I hope I don’t need surgery.

Good luck Maine!

Powder highway is on my to do list...one day.

You're welcome.

Sedona is something else indeed, my fav place is Flagstaff though. Just a perfect outdoor town, less tourists too, we did some really nice hiking there back in late October. Another good thing about Flagstaff is... that it's close to Sedona.

This popped up in my Facebook memories. Just shy of 20 years ago, the Big E (Enterprise, not Eric Lindros lol) stopped in Pensacola for a brief visit during carrier qualifications. I remember the lines were outrageous, but it was fascinating to get to go on an active carrier. We got to ride on the jet elevator, go up in the tower, the whole works.

The next year, she was in the Gulf after 9/11.

Got out of surgery a while ago and I’m feeling pretty good. Still sore but there’s no more excruciating pain when I move that leg. They I can try walking whenever so that’ll give me something to do later. It really sucks being so helpless but I’m on the road to recovery and that feels good. It turns out I broke the femoral head I think. I’m pretty sure that’s part of the femur inside the hip. The nurses were saying it’s a common break for elderly. I guess if you hit a tree hard enough, age doesn’t matter!

I got to go on board the USS Los Angeles when it was commissioned in 1984, my sister was dating a guy whose father worked at Electric Boat. It was the first of its class and the first to be open to the public. I even got to use the periscope!

Does anyone know how to really disinfect one of those Yeti type thermo mugs?

I’ve got bronchitis and most likely a sinus infection and I use my mug all day both to work and at work. I know I can have my mom wash the lid in the dishwasher but what about the metal mug?

Thieves essential oil. You can get it on Amazon for less than you can with Young Living. Should do the trick.

Glad to hear you are feeling somewhat ok. So sorry this happened to you.
Will be sending healing energy.

Do I put the oil in water and rinse it out of the mug?

I'm on plenty of meds to boot the infection lol.

Yep. I'd just fill it up with hot water then drip maybe 3-4 drops of the oil. Or, you can put the drops of oil right on a sponge and wipe it. I use it all over the house.
