Networking printers is in my line of work and either you have a very restrictive network or your IT don't have a clue what they are doing. Two hours! Yikes.
I think Door #2 is probably applicable here. They outsourced our IT about five years ago and it's been a nightmare.

I feel your pain. One of our IT guys tried to fix a login issue for me after a security update and ended up making it worse.

I hope it gets better

The Most Beautiful Place In The World
Sweeeeeeet, congratulations

While I`ve never really been without work, so frustrated. I overcame so many obstacles and busted my behind to gain admission to University in Halifax, did an absolute ton of research prior to determining what field of study gave me the best opportunity to gain employment within a reasonable amount of time post graduation. Spoke with tons of HR managers at various Networking events open to the public so I chose HR

Graduated in 2014, worked with a career counselor who put together what I thought was a terrific resume and portfolio, I did everything she suggested, bang on doors, talk to anyone and everyone just to get my foot in the door, even offered to volunteer at various places just to gain experience in my field.

Last count, over the past 5 years, have submitted over 4,000 resumes and have had one telephone interview. While I`ll always be grateful to have a job in the Hospitality field, I didn`t work so hard at University to still be in the Food and Bev field, still can`t get over the frustration of holding onto a degree and not have anything close to a career in HR.

I know I`m far from the only grad not working in their field but still so frustrating when I`ve done so much and followed the suggestions of so many in trying to get into HR. My expectations have been reasonable, never thought I`d start in anything other than an entry level position and haven`t been able to snag even that, it`s gotten to the point where I haven`t submitted one resume to a company looking for anyone in HR, just sucked the life outta me when it comes to a search in the field.
Sounds like the same story each of my daughters college friends went through/are going through. My daughter was literally the only one of her group to not only have a job before graduation but within her field that her majors covered. It’s craziness.

Move to Arizona where everything either has thorns or can kill you. Even the wasps are amphibious.... snakes will be the least of your worries. :)

  18. In an unprecedented move, European nations via NATO have always helped to defend the U.S. militarily.
  19. They may well not have a younger sibling, as the birth rate in the U.S. has been dropping since they were in grammar school.
  20. PayPal has always been an online option for purchasers.
  21. They have witnessed two African-American Secretaries of State, the election of a black President, Disney’s first black Princess, and the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement.
  22. As they crawled on the floor, TV headlines began crawling at the bottom of the TV screen.
  23. “Pink slime” has always been a food additive.

"Hockey is coming" not soon enough for me. 2019 hasn't been one of my best years. I did really enjoy the Bruins playoffs.

Beautiful weather I hope it lasts through the rest of the summer and fall.

Oh yeah, I know there are never any guarantees but man did I put in a ton of time doing research, almost 6 months as I started University at 40 and was going to take on some debt late in life then I did literally everything that was suggested post Graduation, had a professional do up my resume, attended at least 30 networking events, handing out my card and resume....so frustrating, maybe I`m just unlikable:)

Well this sucks

Eddie Money Diagnosed with Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer

I met him in Providence after a Doobie Brothers show and he invited me and my then girlfriend up to his hotel room with a few others to listen to his upcoming album. He was a great to us that night. It was very cool to meet him and I also got to meet Michael McDonald after the show which was a big thrill for me

Saw him in concert in Burlington, VT in 1988

He and the band were great enjoying themselves with the crowd.

I remember watching his record breaking game live. Recorded it on my very own VCR and everything.

 :( :help: :wally:

And I remember when Camden Yards was new. Still have never seen a game there. though.
Went to a game there during its inaugural in 1992 right after I graduated and was still assigned to my ROTC unit in Philly. Was a great ballpark. My one and only game there.

I worked my first college level hockey game as a linesman and a ref last night. OK, it was club hockey, and it was just their tryouts, but still. I cramped up during the end of the second game (as a ref), and couldn't finish. Did a poor job of hydrating and managing my electrolytes. Doing it again tonight, and will be fully hydrated and ready to go. It was pleasing to know I can work that level game.

Been getting a lot of quality time behind the wheel of the ‘69 Cuda. We really should convert to bigger, disc brakes cuz this thing stops like a freight train. Turns out the brake system was shorting out, so it is now wired with the engine i guess, rather than a fuse. No more shorts, but it’s now really bad at building pressure back into the brake lines it seems, cuz once you start pushing the brake if you let up, that’s it, it won’t stop for a good 5 seconds until the line pressurizes.

I’m no mechanic or science guy, that’s just how it feels to me.

Either way, taking it out to DQ now.
