I am in the same boat. At the draft i was stoked to get Gropp but everything he has done since has shown his skills are fringe NHL and his hockey IQ is sub NHL. Even if he eventually finds his way onto NHL ice it wont be for long. Happens. He is still 5462561541546 times better then me but yeah any trade for him is most likely going to be a yes from me.

Meh, not sure I'd call it "steal of the year". In a few years, we'll probably not see either of these guys in the NHL.

Gropp was only good because of Barzal. I don't get how Rangers scouts did not notice that.

He did perform very well when Barzal was out if I remember correctly, but yea, I’m not defending that pick. Unfortunately they can’t all be winners.
