Doug Wilson is the only GM in modern history to trade into the top-10, not once, but twice. I think he goes for the hatty tonight.

I'd be more inclined to do 45 and 55.

I doubt there's a huge difference between what's available at #22 and what's available at #32. Not keen on giving up #45 for that, especially considering some of the players Stevie has gotten in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.
I disagree pretty strongly. The difference between 22 and 32 is a whole talent tier IMO. Depending on how things go a very good player will be available at 22 who will not be available at 32.

Maybe a package like Ottawa's pick at 33 and pick 61 for pick 22 and Ottawa's 2021 4th

Detroit and Ottawa are going to have to many players to sign in a couple of years with all these picks. Both should look at this. More so Detroit. That’s about fair value too. Two 2nds for the 22nd.

LA is even closer to this situation and we have three second rounders.

So does Detroit including 32. I’m trying to remember the Hronek draft but I think it was 21 for like 36 and 45. Something like that. Those teams, including the Kings have to many players to sign. So some of these are going to end up wasted picks. If there’s a player they want at 22, they absolutely should go for it.

Looks like they moved up instead. For a solid defenseman. Calgary moved down twice now and has two 3rd round picks in the draft.
