It still amazes me that William Nylander is making more annually than Brad Marchand and David Pasternak.

If he gets even PP usage, then 45-50. Depending on how much time it takes him to get going.

If he doesn't get PP time like the others, then around 35-40.

I think even with PP time he will get 35-40 points. It will take 10-20 games to get up to mid season speed at which time more than half of the season would be gone.

He's not close to either of them. He's overpaid but still a very good player. Keep in mind this is a team that pays 40 year old Marleau 6 million and Tavares 11. I know Tavares was a free agent but he's still overpaid. I think we could win the Cup this year anyway if all our top dogs stay healthy.

Anyone expecting a point per game will be disappointed IMO. He does not have the offensive vision and IQ of Marner. His skills are elite but he will not be as good as Marner, book it.
