If that's all it'd take, wouldn't he have already been signed?
Even if he signed today I wonder when would we see him in the line up?The thread tittle reminds me of an 80s slasher . Thinking this get done by tuesday 7 years 6.7 million
I also expect this.Whenever Mike thinks he's ready If he's signed today I could see Johnson being scratched and willy in his place on line 4
limited time against the Sens Oct 6th. I think he'll sit out until November though. Earning less by the day now.Even if he signed today I wonder when would we see him in the line up?
The longer a player holds out, the worse the contract seems to get for them.If that's all it'd take, wouldn't he have already been signed?

I think if he were to sign today, he would sit out the first game. He has to fly back from Sweden and get readjusted to the time difference and get back in a routine. If he signs today, or anytime before October 3rd, he plays October 3rd
His agent is a pos according to Burke. If that's all it'd take, wouldn't he have already been signed?
I was thinking about some sort of trade with the Habs involving Petry and one of our wingers for Nylander. But if he wants that kind of money don't think we want him.Ehlers and Nylander have been pretty much neck and neck since their draft years nothing really has changed I preferred Ehlers before the draft and think it's pretty much a wash at this point.
These two players should be locked up to pretty much identical contracts, why on earth does Nylander think he should be getting paid two million a season more than Ehlers, when Ehlers has actually outscored him the past two years (by two points FWIW).
Ehlers had an extension in place last year, cap inflation and Toronto's other young stars potential much higher payout has nylanders camp wanting more.

No, we don't want him. Nylander too much moneyThe Habs are going to get Nylander for a 4th-5th dman? It would have to be a monster plus for that to work going to TOR!

Leafs fans think he will capitulate and “do the right thing”

Nylander gets his way

No worries...we don't want Petry for Nylander...at all.I was thinking about some sort of trade with the Habs involving Petry and one of our wingers for Nylander. But if he wants that kind of money don't think we want him.
Why Nylander want so much money he is only a 20 goal scorer? No worries...we don't want Petry for Nylander...at all.
22 years old, back to back 61 point seasons and great chemistry with Matthews. Why Nylander want so much money he is only a 20 goal scorer?

Get real if Nylander wanted $6.5 million per, He'd already be resigned. He wants far more then that. Hence why he's not resigned yet.October 2: 6.5m * 7 years.
