Doesn't really make sense for either side. Cant see the Canucks being willing to trade Boeser, and if the leafs trade Willy it will be for a D-Man.

HOWEVER...

Nylander and Petterson would be absolutely insane together, and the Canucks would become team Sweden again

What's the motivation for the Canucks here, exactly? In a 62 games last year as a 20 year old rookie Boeser put up a high in goals that Nylander has never achieved in two 80+ game seasons, and was a 7 points shy of surpassing Nylander's career high in points in 20 full less games (was pacing to pretty comfortably break it for 70+ points). And crucially Boeser isn't holding out right now for an unfair overpriced contract of 8+ million.

Yes, he scored 7 more goals and had 7 less points than Nylander did as a 20 year old. So he is more injury prone than Nylander. It is only one season. Who says he he won't play 80 games this year? Besides, Nylander is not holding out l. He doesn't have a contract. You have to have a contract to hold out. Geez, no one forces you to make any trades on the board; you don't have spin things.
