Threads like this are seemingly popping up every other day.

Like the Canucks fan a few days ago who told me the dropoff between 10th/11th is a massive one, knowing exactly how the top 10 will go in Early May.

Or the Blackhawks fan who insisted the Islanders will badly fall in love with someone available at 8th overall and willing to steeply overpay any price to get him.

The reasons fans want both our 1st rounders are the same reasons why we'd prefer to keep them. If I could figure out a way to trade 12th overall for 13th + 14th overall, I'd want that too.

Assuming McDavid and Draisatl are unavailable, players NYI need involve DMen: Nurse or Klefboom.

Another option would be in exchange for 1 and not both their 1st:

Poolparty = NYI 1st

NYI has no problems scoring and badly need DMen which means keeping their other 1st.

oilers would be better off trading Pool party and their first to move up, the isles need to keep their picks
