Timashov would be better served just going to the KHL, unless the Islanders have like 4-5 injuries upfront I really don't see how he plays any games for us

I fully expected Timashov to sign in the KHL but I guess Timashov is gonna try to make the Isles roster again.
Once the details of the contract are known it should be clear if Timashov has an out clause or European assignment clause in the contract if he doesn’t make the Islanders roster but doesn’t want to play the AHL.
