All sounds good, Toronto's a great market to expand a team to for sure.

If the Olympic team players are still boycotting, I doubt enough people will care about the NWHL team. They can already go see PWHL games.

I'll be interested to see how Toronto responds to this. Despite what one might think intuitively, the reality for a very long time in Toronto has been a lot of teams failing to compete with the focus on the Leafs. What should be interesting, is whether women's hockey creates a different kind of niche which has its own market to itself.
