Take RNH on a 50% of 50% deal...
I wonder who would eat 1.5M in cap space for RNH though.

Not really a fan of either but I'd probably take Monahan. RNH is more versatile, but he's become a very bland top 6 player that doesn't really do anything that stands out. Monahan hasn't looked great playing with some injuries since the 2nd half of last year but at the very least when he's healthy he's a very good finisher. I think I'd try to play him on the wing and hope he can be a 30 goal scorer again.

I take Monahan still, but both are mediocre players that rely on top end talent to get them going.

Honestly they'd probably both benefit from a change in scenery just to get them motivational juices firing.

The RNH I saw this year seemed a bit down or disinterested. Couldn't find the guts of the game.

Ignoring the fact that RNH is the significantly more versatile player, he's also been much more productive over the last few years.

Last two seasons:

RNH 117gp 38g 96p -3
Monahan 110gp 32g 76p -22

This isn't close.
I prefer RNH but if this poll has anything to say about it, it's extremely close.

Playing the majority of his ES minutes and nearly all of his PP minutes with one or both of the top 2 scorers in each of those seasons, with 46% of his points coming on the 4th and 14th best PPs of all time. I know you've used Monahan's weak P/60 without Gaudreau to show he's been carried I the past, but Nuge's 5v5 P/60 over this year, even with McDavid and Draisaitl's time is a disastrous 1.15

RNH for sure. Both are complimentary players who aren’t play drivers but RNH is better offensively and defensively.

RNH provides more value, but he’ll still be largely overpaid it a team like Seattle signs him to be a 1C
