This is entirely my mindset now. Looking forward to the draft in 2020. But there is that nagging weight of an owner's idiocy that makes it all seem hopeless, regardless of drafting #1, as we would be right back here in 5 years given how younger and younger players are getting paid and that "we can be outgunned".

Dorion could actually coin himself a job as a tank specialist. He will get you there whether he intends to or not. Kind of like a natural talent for tanking teams.. That could actually have market value. Just don't keep him around for the rebuild.
