Like I said a few weeks ago, I'm pretty tired of the NFL's bullshit and manufactured drama. My wife watches reality garbage on Bravo and I make fun of her for it, but at least Bravo makes no pretense about what it actually is. I'm pretty much done with this clown show. Turned off the Saints game today after they called back the touchdown and I didn't even bother to check the score after that. Didn't watch one second of any other games today.

I'd quit fantasy football too, because I just really don't care, except my closest friends are in the league and we've been doing it 17 years so it doesn't feel like something I can stop without hurting their feelings.

Sundays are quickly becoming very un-football around my house and I'm not even mad about it. I'm just weary of it.

Bridgewater looked mediocre at best yesterday too.

I think this is probably biggest for the Falcons. They were probably the biggest threat to the Saints before Brees got injured.

Panthers need to worry about putting out the dumpster fire before worrying about competing for the division.

Can anyone explain the rules logic of the end of Bears-Broncos?

Broncos score the TD, get a delay penalty, so they can kick from the 20 or go for 2 from the 7.
Denver kicks, Chicago is off-sides.

Somehow, Denver gets to assess the 5 yards from the 2 (not the 7) so they repeat the try from the 1 yard line??

The rules definitely say this is how it works, but why??

The best explanation I've seen is that the rule doesn't actually work this way and the refs messed up the spot.

I didn't say anything about the NFL screwing the Saints, I said I'm tired of the bull**** and drama. I think you'd have to be deaf, dumb and blind to not have noticed by now that EVERYTHING becomes a storyline for them to promote, even the incompetence of their own officiating. They won't ever try to really fix it because they don't need to, they can just spin it into next week. Will Antonio Brown go to prison? Will the Saints finally get their 'revenge'? What does Aaron Rodgers estranged family think of all this?

And what's the latest on Odell Beckham's $300,000 watch, that last week was a $250,000 watch, that the week before was a $180,000 watch, because we keep ratcheting up the cost of the watch because more money, more drama.

Edit - I’m just messing around. Your first post about the Saints, obviously there was more to it. There’s always noise to be ignored. I guess if you’re an ESPN show watcher, yeah, you’d definitely be worn out by it. Seriously tho...if you tune out except on Sundays, the noise does lessen.

Like with anything, if you go into a thread about a topic, and **** all over the topic, you might get push back. That doesn't mean you can't post about it or that we aren't all still friends. I apologize for making the comment that started your frustration, it just seemed like a few times now you brought up the same thing (though I might be wrong) and I found it a bit odd to be so frustrated by it, but continuing to post in a thread about it. I just thought you would have peaced out on the NFL by now based on previous comments. Again, I'm sorry to be part of making you so upset.
