Bears kicker hits the upright, then the crossbar, then out. No good, Bears going home.

Parkey, he who hit the upright 4 times in one game, hits it again... but this time it also bounces off the crossbar before missing...

Just heard an interesting Vikings stat this morning. 0-7-1 this year when tied or trailing at halftime. 8-0 when leading at the half.

Was some of it Cousins? Yeah. But that's not a great look for the coaching staff.

Edit: Looked that up - they were actually tied with the Packers at halftime in their second meeting. So 7-0 vs. 1-7-1.

Well, Wisconsin just beat #2 Michigan. So at least one team knows how to win against good teams at the Kohl Center this year.

Horrible non-call, and horrible coaching on the last series in regulation by Payton both send the Saints to the offseason.

Indeed a horrible non-call, but I'm not complaining either. The Saints have been pretty darn lucky over the years (except, well... last year's playoffs).

Love it! Suck it, Payton!

Hey, and what's with Kickers making FG's?

What a freaking game. Really wanted Kansas City to win, as most people. Bummer.

The big story is the whiff on the PI call, but I agree that Payton's clock management was very suspect. I was super confused why the Saints were passing there in the first place. After that Ginn catch, the Saints were basically in the red zone with a fresh set of downs. Why were they not trying to run down the clock and kill off the Rams remaining timeout(s?) in that situation? There was less than 2 minutes left and you have Kamara and Ingram who can both run the ball and it's not like you had Lutz stretching his distance from that spot. Passing there was very curious to me.

But yeah, that PI call should have been the easiest call of the day. The Rams secondary was not good on that drive either. The Ginn catch happened because the Rams DB was trying to make an INT instead of just disrupting the catch (actually, it reminded me of the Minneapolis Miracle last year and how the Saints defender was trying to make a big hit instead of just stopping Diggs). Then, the blatant PI where the Rams defender wasn't even looking at the ball AND made helmet contact.

There was a missed facemask on Goff that would've given them 1st and goal. No sympathy about the refs

Yeah.
I've turned off football a bit, though I'll still watch the locals, but I'd have to say that was one of the most entertaining couple of games I've seen in a while.
