I have no factual evidence to support this but I'm pretty sure the Leafs drafted him in attempt to sign his brother a few years back.

Vesey's dad is/was a scout for the Leafs (not sure if he still is).

Wonder if Jimmy Vessey would like to sign here and play on the same team as his brother?

Hockey East - excluding Northeastern - was pretty bad this year, and his numbers for a senior are very average. Might be able to make it in the ahl. I still wonder why Foo signed with cowtown if he wasn’t guaranteed a roster spot.

Yup, as always thanks for these videos. IMO his handling of the puck is a bit sub par but he has some tools to work with.
