No season?

I posted this on the Habs board but I'll post it here too...

I was reading that Eklund hockey rumour blog, and while he claims to have inside sources telling him there will be a season, someone responded on his site, who claims to have spoken with Komisarek at a Long Island rink while he was skating, who told him there would be no season.

He said that Theodore, who is the Habs' player rep, told them to sign with European teams because the season was cancelled, and that he was off to Europe himself.

Now, I don't see why someone would lie about this, but you never know. Didn't Mike just have hip surgery? Would he be skating already? And is Jose the new player rep for the Habs?
