Wait for next year when Suzuki and Poehling are ready to go. Kotka would probably push Danault to 3C and no more Agostino/Chaput (yes, I know they played well tonight).

Praying for a miracle to fix the defence. Hopefully Josh Brook will impress at WJC too and end up making the team next season.

I'm still hoping for a trade for a D at least at the deadline.

It's the grill

Yea he wasn't the same player with the cage on. Hope his facial injuries won't prevent him from dropping the gloves if/when needed, it was nice to know someone can step into that role when necessary, and he usually acquitted himself quite well in that department.

He was good tonight and D'Lo had an extra jump, guess he didn't like getting scratched the last game.

The way D'Lo responded to being scratched is exactly the reaction a coach is looking for. I will also say that Peca had a very good game last game after being scratched before that. He had a point. So in both cases, CJ made the right call.

Yea i really like how the 4th line looks with Agostino and Chaput. Shaws been playing better but i'd still look to move him with a few more pieces for a good LHD.

Armia will replace Shaw when he comes back and our d-core would actually look decent for once:

xxxx Weber
Kulak/Schlemko/Reilly Petry
Kulak/Schlemko/Reilly Juulsen
Benn/Ouellet

Poehling and Brook will surely need some AHL time first. Suzuki may end up cracking the line-up, but I wouldn't mind him starting in Laval, as well.

Sens fans going nuts, they can't stand us, especially Domi. I wish we could play them 40 times a year, they're soooooo bad. Also what's all the hype about Tkachuk, did he even touch the puck tonight?

I think 4 is the sweet spot. Are you taking 5 again next term?

Years ago, when I was doing my undergrad in engineering, I finished in 3 1/2 years instead of 4. I did fall-winter-summer semesters my last year going 21-19-12 credits for 52 that year (each course was either 2 or 3 credits). I had classes I couldn't even physically attend as many overlapped each other. But man, I was completely burned out after that summer.

Can't believe people want to trade Byron. He's one of the fastest players in NHL that favors speed now .
Yeah , but we can get a draft choice for him ...that means that we have a small chance to select a 20 goals scorer that will play for us one day :snide::sarcasm:

Maybe it's time to package Hudon.

Hudon and a 3rd for either:

-a PP specialist(F or D)
-a second pairing LD
-a winger for the Domi line

Obviously some of these needs can transfer over one another. I do think a PP specialist is the way to go. Those kinds of players who 5on5 are not the best but excel on the PP can be had in trades, especially wingers. We are great 5on5 and can easily shelter that player, who would hopefully provide the missing ingredient to the puckhandling/zone entries on the powerplay.

The number of wins the Ottawa Senators had this week vs the Habs.

For sure, I just think it's too early to know where we are heading this season.

Funny thing is, two seasons ago, Habs beat Sens three times in a row within a week. We were ecstatic. In the end, Habs were ousted in the first round and Sens went to Double-OT of Game 7 in the ECF.

However, I think the best approach is to just enjoy the ride. Win or lose, for me, there have been maybe 2 or 3 snooze fests. Every other game has been fun.

I seriously dont know how engineering students do it. I was taking sciences last year and I'm taking kinesiology this year. I'm still undecided on what I want to do, but I know I'm interested in something along those paths. I'm still going to be taking all my sciences next year, I'm just using this year for kinesiology.
