Fun stuff: Valentin Nussbaumer had in his first 22 games of the season with the EHC Biel 2 assists and now after signing with the HC Davos he has 9 points in 10 games.

Even has 12 Points in 11 games now. Weird what a change of scenery can do to a player. It has to be said though that Wohlwend is giving him much better quality ice time than he got in Biel. Cant be to hard on Biel however as they seem to always give quite a few young players a chance in the NLA. Hischier who struggled after Thornton left for Toronto seems to have found his groove back as well by the way. Seems like this is shaping up to be a win win trade for both teams.

I have to admit, I really like how the Lakers are going on.

Signing of young, interesting Swiss players and giving them a chance. Brühschweiler is a very interesting signing. One who probably couldn't get a shot with the Lions but is good enough for many other NLA-rosters. Good to see Nyffeler stay for a year. Would be tough to find an adequate replacement.

Really happy Brüschweiler gets a chance at Rapperswil. I liked his play when he was called up to Zurich. Albrecht is a nice addition as well. Cervenka, Rowe, and Nyffeler will keep them competitive. Good job by Rapperswil.

Lausanne has enough guys who can generate offense. Conacher hasn't been living up to expectations for them and probably isn't the cheapest player on the roster either so they let him go. Also maybe Conacher wanted to return to Bern and forced it.

Not sure if any Swiss fans would be so kind as to post line combos for the playoff teams.

awesome... thank you.

Would love to see more of this for all leagues... gives a better feel for what is actually going on when we can't see the games ourselves.

I think final will be best of 5 in any case. Semi-finals are scheduled to be best of 5 but could be switched to best of 7 if the first round is over early enough. At least that's the way I understand it.

In any case, I doubt all series will be over in 5 games.

All first round series are tied at 1-1, so unless four teams manage to win their next 3 games that seals it. Semifinals will be best of five.

Cool to see Rapperswil do that good. Without Cervenka. Nyffeler obvously their life insurance. But after loosing Egli next season it will also be very tough to hold on Nyffeler and also Lehmann in one year.
