Quit it with these outlandish trade proposals for the Devils.

Zacha isn't going anywhere. Neither are any of the other highly touted prospects like Santini Quenneville.

Why trade those guys for bottom pairing no-names.

Shero has already said he's going to let the young guys battle it out in camp -- the Devils are transitioning - it doesn't make sense to morgage the future where they're at.

So stop with them.

Oh how you'll learn.

I remember in the fall of 2011 Callahan and Dubinsky trade proposals flooded these boards and I made a similar thread.

And yet here we are...

Edit: If those trade proposals really bother you much HF is definitely not for you.

99% of the proposals on this forum are insanely unrealistic in a variety of ways.

But above all its just harmless speculation. At times fun, at times aggravating. But whatever is said on this stupid website has zero baring on reality.

So Hall goes from the team with worst D corp 2015 to the team with the worst D core of 2016. No catching a break for this guy.

NJ needs to add atleast 2 NHL Dmen to the roster to create some sort of internal competition. Shattenkirk should be the main target.

NJ actually had one of the better defenses last year. Losing Larsson sucks but it doesn't make us horrible all of a sudden. If you believe it does then I'm sorry your expectations of Larsson are so high.

New Jersey most definitely does not have the worst defensive core. Trading one player doesn't drop a team from top ten to the bottom, regardless of how good that player may have been. 2/3 of the game was played without Adam Larsson, while his contribution to the team will be hard to replace, it won't sink the defense to the bottom of the league.

No reason for Devils to trade for D I agree. The system will allow for players to be used appropriately and Devils will Lean on more proven D such as Greene to get thru this transition phase maybe next year they can make a big D splash to fill larssons departure

Losing a top 3 Dman and not really replacing him will hurt for sure.
Hopefully for your sake Severson steps up and fills in Larsson's shoes and someone like Shattenkirk is acquired to provide some offense from the backend.

Oilers have ruined plenty Dmen just by playing them a pairing above where they should be playing.
