Devils open up with a split squad doubleheader (at Montreal, home against Philadelphia). They only had 23 forwards under contract, so Willman might get to dress for the B team that gets sent to Montreal?

Last year we played Samuel Laberge for the preseason opener at Montreal and he was only on an AHL deal. At any rate, warm body for camp.
