I don't follow your thinking here. Why is eloping a sign of trouble? Just curious :)
Do you think a 20 year old should be getting married? Eloping is getting married, but doing it spontaneously. Do you think a stable person get's spontaneously married at age 20? Do you want to count on this person to have the drive and work ethic to become your franchise #1 dman?

Sorry, eloping has absolutely nothing with spontaneous marriage. Do you have an issue with people getting married at 20? Especially when they have an amazing career and basically have their life set?

Eloping only means that you leave and go somewhere to get married in private. This is probably the dumbest thing I've ever read.

On HFBoards, young potential talent always trumps young established talent.

ALWAYS :tmi:

Yeah, we heard a lot of those snide remarks from Burke apologists in Toronto too: "why draft and wait for a mystery box to be Evander Kane, when you can have Evander Kane himself!" said the geniuses.

Well, the thing is, there's stuff like ELC's to consider, there's the fact that Bogosian and Kane were deemed to be expendable pieces from another team's failed youth movement, that you're paying Ryan O'Reilly huge, huge dollars to play a role that may never justify his salary, lot's of things to consider.
