Z was our most entertaining player from 2016/2017 to 2018/2019. A Rebel.
Never would wanted to see him go.

After last season it feels like "a rebel" is gone and basic dull 5th/6th D is all there is left.

It sucks EJ has a no trade clause because he had to be protected instead of Z.

This trade really could hurt us if Zadorov puts it together. When he is on he changes games.

Saad is a great player and fills a need but man oh man if Z becomes what he can become look out league.

I hope Dennis Gilbert can be a quality bottom pair LD. He is a tough guy too.

Will probably be missed a lot in the locker-room by all accounts, and his open ice hits were always something special. One of the few guys left in the league who could deliver them cleanly and consistently. Hope he does well in Chicago.

Duchene was my favorite player for years, then he became Douchene and when he left I felt weird not having a "favorite". Then Z did hilarious things to opponents and soon cemented himself in my heart. He seems like a genuinely great dude and very funny.

Now I'm back to not having a favorite player. I genuinely used to smile and get excited when Z stepped on the ice, with great anticipation of some hilarity but it became more scarce over recent years.

Best of luck in Chicago, Z. You were the best.

I won’t miss his 2 or 3 bonehead penalties per game. I did like him though.
