Do you think either Hischier or Hughes could break this record? I think it's a testament to the kind of player he is, that he is out there on the ice defending a lead but has the offensive chops to also create offense in that situation. It's a record that isn't often contextualized, but it could be a major part of his legacy in New Jersey.
Do you think he could do it? He has 3 years left on his contract. I don't think he gets it done unless he re-signs. 10 ENGs in 3 years would be extremely high.
