Unless Ehlers puts his mental game together, I'd say this is pretty easily Tkachuk. If your goal is a Cup and not regular season points anyway
"Neither" - Jim Benning
Wouldnt even be surprised to see Tkachuk out score Ehlers over his career. 48 points in his rookie year (52 point pace) and 59 point pace last year. Wouldnt be surprised to see him hit high 60s/low 70s this year. Hes a really smart player.
Yeah, Tkachuk is also friends with Matthews. Would love to have a guy like that in Toronto!Tkachuk any day... I would LOVE to have him on the Leafs, not happening though :/
Edmonton is just a screw up in general tbhYeah, Tkachuk is also friends with Matthews. Would love to have a guy like that in Toronto!
Man, did Edmonton ever screw up taking that bust over Tkachuk.
Guys like Ehlers, Nylander and Tkachuk are good young players......But give me Tkachuk over the other two.
It's weird that you brought Nylander into this.
Anyways, I take Tkachuk, but not by much. I think Ehlers is playing below his potential right now so it's a bad time to ask. Ehlers does seem to be more reliant on linemates.
