as a Rangers fan, deal... Rangers would be lucky to get that good of value for Fast although I can see a few playoff teams overpay.

such as Abramov or Der-Arguchintsev,
and a bit more, maybe add-in a long-shot, such as Greenway, who may go UFA in August... or a late round F such as Holmberg or McGregor

I'd rather keep Bonino than trade him for Kerfoot. None of the other pieces make any dent. But Bonino has been arguably our best forward this season, and even looking out past next season we don't really have a strong need for Kerfoot to replace him. If/when we move on from Bonino I'd rather just deal him for pure futures... the highest draft pick or best prospect we could get.

I think Toronto would accept the Nashville deal. Doubt Nashville would though.
I don't know why new York would deal that deal for fast. Am I missing something on him.?

Marincin and Gauthier are at best replacement level players. They don't add to the deal because NAS can find similar players very easily.

Not really a reason for the Predators to do this.

I don't see the Rangers doing this. Fast is likely to be re-signed in the offseason to a similar deal to his current one, and Timashov isn't a high enough ceiling guy to entice the Rangers to make the trade

Unless we're getting a 1st I'd rather keep Bonino for next year. Trade Smith, Granlund and maybe Turris if his value is high enough, let Hamhuis, Irwin and Weber go, draft someone in the top 10 and come back next year younger and more fresh. Kerfoot's alright but I'd rather have Johansen-Duchene-Bonino down the middle.

I think 2nd round pick is more valuable than Timashov.

He is a UFA in 25 games and will likely want 2.5-3 mil x term.

debateable. Bonino hasnt hit 40pts since 4 teams ago ha.
Kerfoot has crushed his production thus far since he entered the league, and is also like 6 years younger

Abramov or SDA are off the table in any trades IMO. We have very few high end picks over (1st round) last year or this year. We can’t afford to trade them for bottom 6 players.
